Dowco provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser, for their products to be free from defects in material and workmanship. The length of the warranty depends on the item and becomes void if the manufacturer discontinues the product. Our warranty program only allows for replacement items to be issued that are the exact item being warrantied. We cannot exchange an item for a different size, color, type under warranty. Only the original purchaser of the product may make a warranty claim. Dowco Powersports cannot honor the limited lifetime warranty on products purchased used, secondhand, or through unauthorized resellers such as eBay. Scroll down for details about individual products and the length of warranty.

If a Dowco Powersports item fails to perform properly, go to the warranty returns portion of the website for instructions on how to process the warranty.

Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, modifications to the product, accident or improper installation, allowing the item to come in contact with petroleum products, battery acid, chemicals, or tree sap, not properly securing the product, or allowing sharp objects to damage product. In addition Dowco Powersports does not cover damage that includes, but is not limited to the following: wind, hurricanes, tropical storms, typhoons, tornadoes, floods, hail, allowing water or ice to accumulate or pocket and other extreme weather conditions. Dowco Powersports warranties the material and workmanship of the cover only, any alterations/modifications to the cover or Willie and Max items will void the warranty. The products that include a limited lifetime warranty are warranted for the lifetime the product is on the market.

If your product is used in direct sunlight for extended periods of time, fading may occur. This is normal wear and not a manufacturer defect in material or workmanship. 

Dowco Powersports charges a $10 fee to cover shipping for all warranty replacements shipped in the lower 48 United States. Customers outside of the lower 48 United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and Canada will be charged shipping to send the warranty replacement product.

Dowco Powersports will replace your product at our discretion.

Once a customer has received (2) warranty replacement covers, Dowco Powersports requires the entire cover requested for warranty be returned for review prior to shipping the replacement cover
