We understand that when you make an order, you want your gear as quickly as possible and we will do our best to make that happen! The following guidelines apply to most orders in which we have stock on hand.

  • Orders received Monday through Thursday before 10:00 am CST will ship same day.
  • Orders received Monday through Wednesday after 10:00 am CST will ship next day.
  • Orders received Thursday after 10:00 am CST will ship the following Monday.

Some items will be marked “Made in the USA” and may take up to 3-5 business days processing time prior to shipment. This allows us time to manufacture the product. Many of these items cannot ship the same day and require processing time prior to shipment. If you select an expedited shipping method, please note that this will not reduce the processing time before the order is shipped!

A shipping confirmation email (with tracking numbers) will typically be sent within 24 hours of an item shipping. For example, if you place an order Monday night and it ships out Tuesday morning, you will receive your tracking information either Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.

Most orders will be shipped UPS Ground, however, we do offer UPS Overnight, USPS Standard Post, USPS Priority Mail, and USPS Priority Overnight.

Shipping Method Explanation

Shipping days are Monday-Thursday. Holidays, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are not included in shipping days.

Shipping Changes

Shipping changes after the order is shipped, such as intercepts, address change, and will call pick-up may be subject to a $10 Service fee per shipment (this is simply passing along the fee billed to us by the carrier to make the change when in-transit).

Orders shipping to an APO address qualify for our Free Shipping promotion and will be fulfilled from our Manitowoc, WI manufacturing facility. APO orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Military Mail, please allow an additional 1-5 business days to process your order.

Alaska / Hawaii / U.S. Territories

Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories including Puerto Rico, Guam, and U.S. Virgin Islands will ship via the United States Postal Service from Manitowoc, WI. Please allow an additional 1-5 business days to process your order. If your order is urgent, feel free to contact us and we can try to accommodate.

International Orders

Orders shipping to an International destination will ship via USPS or UPS from our facility in Manitowoc, WI. Please allow an additional 1-5 business days to process your order. See full details on our International Order Policy.

Delivery Policy

Typically packages will be left at your door and do not require a signature. If you would like to require a signature, please contact Customer Service before placing your order.


Dowco Powersports does not typically take backorders, however items for which a backorder or pre-order is available will be clearly identified.

Damaged Goods

If an item arrives visibly damaged, please contact Dowco Customer Service immediately. Claims are handled through the shipping carrier, but Dowco will assist the customer with these claims to the best of its ability.

International Shipping Policy

International Shipping Terms & Conditions

  • Prices are shown in US dollars. For conversion, we recommend using a Currency Converter.
  • Any import duties, taxes or brokerage fees are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer. Packing slips for International Shipments cannot be marked as a “gift” or with altered prices.
  • International Orders may require 3-5 business days or more of additional processing time prior to shipment.
  • Orders will be shipped by carrier of our choice via UPS or USPS. Typical transit time will be a minimum of 5 business days.

Returns / Exchanges

Customer is responsible for all back and forth shipping and brokerage charges for returns or exchanges. 


For warranty claims please visit our Warranty Returns page. While Dowco will assist international customers with warranty claims, items may need to be shipped to the U.S. for inspection or repair. The customer will be responsible for these additional back and forth shipping charges. To place an international order, please add the items you are interested in your shopping cart and utilize our standard checkout to place your order. Shipping costs and timeline will be calculated for your review prior to entering your payment information.
